J. M. Sinclair was born and raised in the Canadian prairies but seems to have made a habit of calling islands all over the world home. She is still on the move and doubts she’ll ever stay in one place for very long—that’s something to figure out once she finishes grad school and becomes a real grown-up. Her day jobs have included teaching and archaeology, frequently both at the same time. Although she is first and foremost a writer of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, she is also a filmmaker and actor. Her fiction has appeared in the anthology Parallel Prairies and online at Every Day Fiction and Polar Borealis. Her most recent film work was screened at The Nickel Independent Film Festival.

J. M. is a contributing author to the House of Zolo’s Journal of Speculative Literature – Volume 2  with the short story “Our Stars.”
