Laurel Radzieski’s debut poetry collection, Red Mother (NYQ Books, 2018), is a love story told from the perspective of a parasite. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Rust + Moth, Glintmoon, Atlas and Alice, Really System, The Slag Review and elsewhere, including on roadsides and a street sign in rural Wisconsin. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College and has been a Writer-in-Residence at the Wormfarm Institute. Laurel teaches writing workshops and enjoys writing poems for strangers at community events. She is currently a teaching artist for Arts in Education in Northeast Pennsylvania (AIE/nepa).
Laurel lives with a cat and a husband in northeastern Pennsylvania.
Laurel is a contributing author to the House of Zolo’s Journal of Speculative Literature – Volume 1 with the poem “Alternative to the Apocalypse: #4.”
